Kirk Cassidy
President & CEO
Kirk Cassidy is the President and CEO of C2 Private Wealth. He founded the firm on the belief that retirement outcomes can be improved by integrating every financial decision into a single, coordinated plan. His vision was to build an intergenerational firm grounded in family values, education, and care, designed to serve clients for decades to come. Today, C2 remains proudly family-owned. His niece, Lea Boreland, plays a key leadership role in the firm’s growth, and Kirk hopes that his children, Trae and Samarra, will one day continue the legacy.
A passionate advocate for charitable planning, Kirk helps clients align their philanthropic goals with smart, tax-efficient strategies. He has served on the advisory board of United Charitable, co-founded the Brent G. Cassidy Family Foundation, and developed and managed a national planned giving program for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).
Kirk also dedicates significant time to financial education through the Retirement Education Foundation, founded by his wife, Jessica Cassidy. He teaches advanced retirement planning and young adult financial literacy courses at local high schools and universities across Michigan.
He holds a Series 65 securities license as well as life insurance licenses in Michigan and several other states. Kirk and Jessica live in Northville, Michigan, and are the proud parents of Trae and Samarra Cassidy.
Every C2 client journey starts with education.
We believe education should come before advice. That’s why we invite anyone interested in retirement planning to attend a comprehensive class hosted by the Retirement Education Foundation.
