About the Role
We are looking for a Financial Planner to support our advisory team by serving as a Case Design Specialist. This role is critical to increasing planning efficiency, ensuring timely plan updates, and supporting more advanced planning strategies for our clients. You’ll work closely with advisors and internal partners to deliver thoughtful, accurate, and client-focused financial plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Increase overall planning efficiency by preparing, updating, and maintaining financial plans
- Complete comprehensive plan updates for existing clients
- Assist with and independently complete some advanced financial plans (e.g., retirement projections, tax considerations, insurance analysis, cash flow planning)
- Own case design follow-up for advanced plans, ensuring recommendations are implemented and communicated clearly
- Collaborate closely with financial advisors to support client meetings and planning strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and planning records
- Stay current on financial planning tools, industry trends, and best practices
Qualifications
- Active Series 65 required
- Active insurance license(s) required (life)
- Experience in financial planning, case design, or a planning support role
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Comfortable handling multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of professionalism, accountability, and follow-through
Preferred Experience
- Experience with advanced planning concepts (retirement income strategies, tax-efficient planning, estate considerations, insurance optimization)
- Proficiency with financial planning software
- Prior experience working directly with financial advisors or within an RIA/wealth management firm
